NupeLoop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) connects members of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc. to organizational resources and one another. Your trust matters to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use the NupeLoop mobile applications, admin portal, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
- Account & Profile Data: Name, member number, contact details, chapter affiliation, credentials, and any optional profile information you provide.
- Usage & Device Data: App interactions, pages viewed, search queries, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, crash diagnostics, and authentication logs.
- Communications: Messages you send to NupeLoop administrators or support teams and your preferences for notifications.
- Third-Party Integrations: Information supplied by services such as Firebase, AWS Cognito, and analytics tools when you sign in, receive push notifications, or use cloud-hosted content.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the NupeLoop experience.
- Authenticate users and safeguard organizational data.
- Personalize content such as chapter announcements, events, or notifications relevant to your role.
- Monitor platform health, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- Vetted Vendors: Infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Expo) that help deliver the Services under strict confidentiality obligations.
- Organizational Leadership: Authorized fraternity administrators who must access data to fulfill governance, compliance, or member-support duties.
- Legal & Safety: When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of members and the fraternity.
4. Your Choices & Rights
- Manage profile visibility and notification settings within the app.
- Request access, correction, download, or deletion of your data by contacting us (subject to membership and record-retention obligations).
- Opt out of marketing communications by using unsubscribe controls in the message or settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your NupeLoop account remains active or as needed to operate the Services, comply with legal mandates, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
NupeLoop uses encryption in transit, role-based access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No system can guarantee perfect security, so please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for collegiate and alumni members. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and minors should not use NupeLoop without verified guardian consent.
8. International Transfers
NupeLoop is operated from the United States. By using the Services, you understand that your information will be stored and processed in U.S. data centers, which may have different privacy protections than other jurisdictions.
